I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that this was the best event we have ever had. I heard that sentiment from more than a couple people, and I won't argue. The biggest part of our success this year was raising over $28,000 for spinal cord injury research at the Waisman Center, but we also succeeded in adding the element of a live music performance by Good Guys Wear Wolf Friday night, partnering with Red's in Chetek who donated a portion of their food sales to our cause and hosted our post-tournament dinner and we had our most competitive basketball tournament ever.

I would like to offer my most sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this year's fundraiser so successful. Our wonderful group of planners, organizers and volunteers pulled off another flawless event. The generosity of those who donated money, auction items and those who bid on auction items made it possible to raise the amount of money we did. Those who played in the tournament put on an exhibition of competitiveness and display of sportsmanship that was appreciated by all who watched. Whether you took part by donating money, auction items, time or played in the games, watched the games or even just help spread the word of our event, you played a role in making our fundraiser a smashing success and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,
David Busta
